Description:
Boulton Paul supersonic test jet, powered by a Rolls Royce Nene. The same engine us Brits gave to Russia as a good will gift. Unsurprisingly the same basic design powered our main adversary in the Korean War, the Mig 15! Also featured: Armstrong-Whitworth Argosy transporter (with enough room for a herd of elephants), Gloster Javelin and Hawker Sea Hawk. |

Natural20Films ::: Favorites That Boulton Paul is fantasatic. I want to fly it! 07-04-30 11:43:56 _____________________________________________________
SmiertSpionem ::: Favorites Apparently the guy who used to fly it (now about 80) still comes down to visit and gets in the cockpit. However he's got a bit big round the middle and it's hard for staff to pull him out! 07-04-30 12:25:56 _____________________________________________________
Natural20Films ::: Favorites Ha! You should get him to autograph a photo! 07-04-30 13:01:58 _____________________________________________________

SmiertSpionem ::: Favorites Only in resin it appears, along with her prettier sister (olympus models?). It flew more or less, but handling was very tricky, then they made it into the P.120. 07-05-07 13:20:05 _____________________________________________________
KurtGnu ::: Favorites Resin.. ouch, that sounds expensive.. :) 07-05-07 13:27:34 _____________________________________________________ |
