jbailey41 ::: Favorites I think this is a great video. I also think the Rafale is a beautiful jet. How's that for objectivity? It's one of the top 4th Generation fighters. Now if aircraft development had stopped 10 years ago in the U.S. and Russia, the Rafale might be vying for customers. I visited all the national parks: Yellowstone,Yosemite, Bryce Canyon, Zion(where I celebrated my birthday)...Awesome! I loved these places, the people, all except the crossing of the Death Valley without water. GwenIngolfsson ::: Favorites Rafale won't be bought - it is too expensive and the Russ are selling their planes to everyone. Mir-3 sold because US wouldn't sell to some countries and the Migs sucked. Rafale never tried to be exceptional. It was designed to be a better F-16. It succeeded but so what? The next French fighter needs to be MUCH better than the F-15 or France is out of the fighter business. Arianespace had a spaceplane project called 'Hermes' some time ago.
