supercosy ::: Favorites I will tackle this one. Firstly the slow and lethargic reaction to such a major disaster was a stark contrast to the reaction of 9/11. Bush was seen on tv smiling and congratulating everyone on a good job. This response sent a message to everyone below him. The message; we (the army, emergency services etc) can wait a day or a week longer to send help, these people are suffering but the presidents smiling. Everythings ok.
