maxbignus04 ::: Favorites Thanks for all your answers! It is Dennis Pugsley of The Overtures who penned the song. He just wrote me an Email confirming that a few days ago. A very nice gentleman to be sure! Looking forward to possibly meeting him in Liverpool next year at the International Pop Overthrow. This is really cool! I've been seaching for the author of this song for SOOO long.. 07-07-09 17:53:23 __________________________________________________
telday ::: Favorites Cont. The Beatles song with the same title is on the Anthology album, and was written I believe by George Harrison, and anyway is a totaly different song. I think therefore the composer of this song has to be Dennis Pugsley,(unless anyone knows better). Hope this all makes sense, I think it's posted the wrong way round. 07-07-05 10:20:55 __________________________________________________
telday ::: Favorites If you check out Amazon, there are 2 D.V.Ds. "Beatles Big Beat Box & Behind The Beat. The first Has a song called in spite of all the danger sung by The Overtures, But credited as "perhaps" a lost Lennon song. The second also has a song by the same title, and according to the Overtures web site Dennis Pugsley (the bands bass player)was commisioned to write that song for the D.V.D. maxbignus04 ::: Favorites Wow.. Thanks man! My band, Phamous Phaces, recorded it for a cd to be coming out this year, and we couldn't find the name of the band, the publisher, or when it was recorded. Nothing. We called it "All The Danger". Was it on an album? Who wrote it? I need the info for the Digital Distribution. I would love to know the authors name. I'd bet he'd be tickled to have a copy, much less a royalty check (if that happens)! 07-07-01 19:41:09 __________________________________________________
smileychirk ::: Favorites Yes. The song is by 'The Overtures'. The Beatles released a song by the same name which causes confusion. I found it a catchy little tune. 07-07-01 09:35:00 __________________________________________________
smileychirk ::: Favorites Yes - it is definitely the Overtures. I had an email from the guy who wrote it. 07-07-01 09:24:26 __________________________________________________
maxbignus04 ::: Favorites Do you know for sure? I've been trying to find who did this song for 7 years! Is there a way to find their stuff? 07-06-28 17:57:11 __________________________________________________ |
