| mickd01 2008-01-23 21:58:28 I'm a Dusty Springfield fan too. There hadn't been many great female pop/rock singers since the 60's until The Pretenders came onto the scene. I sure took notice. Saw The Pretenders in Milwaukee on their first tour of the US, just found my ticket, Thurs. April 24, 1980 at a medium sized theater/bar called The Palms. This was when "Brass in Pocket" first hit our radio. Didn't think that song was a good choice to represent the bands music.
