Description:

This is more of a walkthrough than a tutorial, In this video I go through my process of solving the edges three times, it gets quicker each time. I explain what I'm doing, but not how I'm doing it. If you watch this a few times and try it a lot, you'll start to understand it, hopefully you can follow it the first time. Single parity Alg - (Rr)2 B2 U2 Ll U2 (Rr)' U2 (Rr) U2 F2 (Rr) F2 (Ll)' B2 (Rr)2 Where R+r is both the outer and inner layer Single edge switch R U R' F R' F' R If you're wondering I average a little less than 3min to solve a 5x5. That's not world class speed at all but I know that I use the same amount of moves as the pros. My only problem is look ahead technique which is just practice. I've seen other tutorials, the center ones are fine but all the edge tutorials aren't good. If you compare it to Frank Morris' walkthrough on bigcubes.com, mine is very similer, other tutorials are not at all. I will answer some questions but please try it by yourself first and see if you can't just answer them yourself. I learned almost all of this by just practice on my own.
