I just looked up the group he claimed to belong to in Connecticut, Panthean Temple, and sent an email through Witchvox to the Rev. Alicia Freeman of that group. I included a link to his vid. Maybe she'll weigh in on his claims.

When you meantioned those "fluffy wiccans", Willow on Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a great term for them. She called them a bunch of "WANNA blessed bes". I found it amusing. :-)

shouldn't you blame the teachers of christianity who taught you poorly so your understanding was poor??? if the teachings are fully formed then the belief and support that is a result can be fully formed but on the other hand no one path is suited to all people

I've read the Bible that doesn't change the fact that its not something I could put my faith in.

i didnt mean that if knowledge is passed on properly an educated decicion can be made with understanding a similar experience happened to me but not that bad i knew preyer would be answered if i made an effort to change. im not a christian but i understand the system of belief from many sides not just from the side of blind faith which i suspect is how you were tought

I do feel, although, that I was misled by Christians with this great promise of things if I prayed for them. I prayed alot, several times a day, and I only got more depressed, my family situation got worse and my school situation got worse. That's when I decided that I must do for myself instead of expecting Jesus to help me.

this is a religion that says dont worship idols or have other gods befor me (not me literaly) yet worships jesus with very little evidence like the crusifiction no roman record shows people being taken down after 6hrs or dieing in 6hrs it took days and the treatment was mild compared to others but their are records of people surviving crusifiction. but in sun school i was taght that god is inside all beings yet they excluded me for complaining about being kicked in my shins repetitively

God is inside all things?? That sounds more Native American than Christian. I got in a fight at church once. A kid snapped my bra and I belted him good in the face. It was great. We had to talk to the priest and I refused to apologize.

I had both good and bad experiences with Christian worship and teachings, but when I discovered Wicca it was a homecoming, and I discovered there is a name for the type of faith I have always felt.

Thats why your a strong wiccan... Just like we are strong atheist. We don't think any one would believe something if it was not supported by evidence and personal exp. But a lot of people believe in things. Such as the satanist you and us think are crazy.

A good rule we live by is " We want to be proven wrong so we have the right facts ". That means that no-mater how much you believe your right. You could be wrong. And when some one shows you the facts of reality. You should not disbelieve them just to keep your now unsupported belief.
